You are not broken.
You are buried.
What is buried can be uncovered.
Begin with one question
Why is anyone still lost?
Start with a question that should be easy. Look at what we have built to keep people from being lost. Three systems. Each one old. Each one deep. Each one staffed by people who gave their lives to it.
Three systems. Real knowledge. Real care. Real results, handed out every day by people who mean it.
With all of that, how is anyone still failing to be reached?
There is a person these three systems miss at the same time. Not someone who slipped past one door. Someone who stood in front of all three and could not walk through any of them.
They went to the doctor. The body was treated. Something in them was not reached. They went to the church. The soul was tended. Something in them was not reached. They came to the rooms. The chairs were open. Something in them was not reached. Three helpers. Each one doing real work. Each one missing the same thing, in the same person.
That is not a person failing three times. That is one shape, showing up three times.
It is a design.
Which of the three rooms have you stood in?
Choose any that are true. Your answer stays on your screen. No one sees it, not even us.
Each of these rooms does real work. This guide shows where to begin from the rooms you know.
Dated, on the public record, in 2026.
“Addiction begins in isolation and ends in reconnection.”
The Secretary of Health and Human Services, 2 February 2026
The work is nonpartisan. The federal record is quoted only because it names these rooms together. No agency has funded, reviewed or endorsed this work.

Take your seatWhat if the thing killing these people is not any one of the three doors, but the space between them?
That space has no owner. No clinic is paid to hold it. No church is assigned to it. No recovery room is funded for it. It belongs to no one, so no one is accountable when a person falls through.
Her name was not Sarah. It is changed to protect a real family and a real loss. She was in her early thirties. Her pain was real, it had been treated, and the treatment had worked. By every measure the encounter was built to take, she was a success. The follow-up notes read the way follow-up notes are supposed to read.
She died anyway. Not of the pain. She took her own life, through the part of her the encounter had never been assigned to look at.

This is not an indictment of her clinicians. They did what they were trained to do, with skill and with care.
The gap that took her was not hidden in some deep and inaccessible place. It was as narrow as one question no one asked.
Kiersten was the founder’s cousin. She died of an overdose.
She did not begin the pattern she died inside. Medicine stabilized the chemistry and discharged her when the crisis passed. The faith community had the meaning and could not hold a medical reality and a spiritual one in the same hand. Recovery had the fellowship, and the very barriers that were the illness kept her from crossing into it.
She fell through the gap between them, which belongs to no one, because no system was ever built to own it.

Keep the walls. Build the doors.
The answer is not merger. The answer is a wall, kept on purpose. The clinic does not become the church. The church does not become the clinic. Each stays itself, holds its own standard, speaks its own language, keeps its own discipline, guards its own irreducible thing. The integration does not happen by knocking the walls down. It happens by building an honest passage across them.
In this design, the person never crosses alone.
See how the doors workMedicine
The clinic keeps its wall. It treats the body with everything it has, and its records never cross.
Faith
The church stays the church. It opens a door for the one the world sent away.
Recovery
The rooms are sanctuary and stay exactly as they are. A member who chooses can walk through a door outside their walls.
The person
Only the person, by consent, and the recognition cross. The Ambassador walks with them, so nobody crosses alone.

Designed in full. Being stood up now.
Three finished book manuscripts. One curriculum, cut to length for clinicians, congregations and recovery communities. Talks ready to give. A design for measuring whether a person is still connected months later.
